forgot to mention....

Well I think the note at work was worded wrong b/c I had two managers and a driver tell me that the thing about the paychecks being written on Chase Bank and cashing them there and stuff is for employees that do not have a bank account and that I have nothing to worry about and that I could still cash at my bank where I have my account.

I didn't ask my general manager though...I think I would just wait and if nothing is said then fine but if there's a complication then somebody would have a problem... ;)

Oh, yeah. If an employee doesn't have a bank account and they try to go get their cash checked at a bank, it has to be the *same* bank that the check is written from. My business banks with BBT, so our employees have to cash their checks at BBT if they don't have a bank account elsewhere. If you have a bank account, then your bank will cash/deposit the check for you.
It's kind of stupid. But, then again, they are banks.
